Journalism

NCTJ Qualified, I undertook my training at the Press Association after first dipping my toe into the freelance pool as a contributor to publications including Esquire UK, Time Out London, CLASH and Seven C3 Publishing.

My most memorable pieces to-date include visiting Sir David Attenborough on set for PA Media to document the making of Green Planet, my 2022 Guardian investigation into podcast copyright theft entitled The Great Podcast Robbery?, my front page exclusive interview with Judy Murray on sexism in sport for i News, as well as my 2021 Mirror exclusive with Ed Balls on crisis in care and his lockdown experience living inside a care home.

I also continue to write weekly television, radio and podcast previews for the Guardian, the publication's Saturday suppliment, as well as The Observer.

Following a three month stint as a freelance lifestyle writer at the Evening Standard in 2019, I moved in-house as ShortList's Staff Writer. I had the opportunity to interview and profile a host of renowned entertainment figures, including Tyson Fury, The 1975, David Coulthard and Ben & Jerry to name a few. An all-round content machine,  duties included writing weekly newsletters, editing contributor copy, brand partnerships, product reviews, SEO content optimisation and affiliate copy.

Stepping up to become PA Media's Entertainment Features Writer in 2020. my journey into long form journalism saw me interview a bounty of A-list names across film, television, culture and music. Features were regularly placed in regional and national outlets, including The Independent, The Mirror, The Irish Mirror, The Yorkshire Post, Yahoo News and MSN.  Some of my most memorable print interviews include Sir David Attenborough, Louis Theroux, Michael Portillo, will.i.am and Steven Spielberg. While notable on-screen interviews (see showreel) include Jamie Lee Curtis, Brad Pitt, Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne to name a few.

The Mirror

Profiling the noteworthy has become second nature, however, life's true joy comes from highlighting the passionate voices and tales worthy of a national platform.

Upon going freelance at the start of 2023, I now continue to contribute regularly to publications including The Guardian, The Observer,  i , Metro,  BBC Sport, LBC, Stylist and ShortList among others, alongside a variety of B2C Magazines.

Glorious Sports

Delving into the world of professional motorsport, I explore the monumental task facing former Formula 1 driver-turned-business mogul Susie Wolff. Exploring her career and appointment as F1 Academy's new Managing Director, this long-read on women behind the wheel also features interviews from Formula 2 star Tatiana Calderón and Aston Martin driver and ambassador Jessica Hawkins.
